For years, I’ve had the opportunity to share my passion for reptiles through educational shows, school presentations, and hands-on animal encounters throughout Southern California. But there’s so much more to the reptile world than what we can cover during a live show!
That’s where my YouTube channel comes in.
A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Life with Reptiles
Have you ever wondered what it’s really like to own a snake, lizard, or tortoise? Or what goes into caring for an entire collection of exotic animals?
On my YouTube channel, I take you beyond the reptile shows and into the everyday adventures of caring for these incredible creatures.
From feeding and enclosure setups to animal behavior and the unexpected moments that come with keeping reptiles, I share an inside look at life with my animals.
Reptile Education, Care Tips, and Fun Facts
One of my biggest goals with SnakesonSam has always been to help people better understand and appreciate reptiles.
Unfortunately, many of these animals are misunderstood. Through my videos, I hope to challenge common misconceptions, share interesting scientific facts, and help current and future reptile keepers make informed decisions about animal care.
Some of the topics you’ll find on my channel include:
Reptile Care: Learn about the unique requirements of keeping different reptile species.
Animal Adventures: Follow along with my animals and see what life is like behind the scenes.
Reptile Facts and Science: Discover fascinating adaptations, behaviors, and the biology of reptiles.
Product Reviews and Enclosure Setups: Explore equipment, habitats, and products used in reptile keeping.
What Is It Really Like to Own a Reptile? An ongoing focus on the realities, responsibilities, and rewards of caring for different species.
Whether you’re a longtime reptile enthusiast, considering your first pet reptile, or simply curious about these amazing animals, there’s something for you!

Reptiles have been a huge part of my life, and creating videos gives me the opportunity to share that passion with people far beyond Southern California.
